Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort is located on Bazaruto Island, approximately 30 kilometres from the Mozambican mainland. The resort has 44 villas positioned along the coast, with direct access to the island’s beaches and views across the Indian Ocean. Its private airstrip and helipad support transfers from Vilanculos, while the surrounding dunes and waters provide the setting for many of the resort’s activities.

Vilankulo International Airport is the main arrival point for the resort. From the airport, guests can take a helicopter transfer of approximately 15 minutes or travel by road and boat, with the boat journey taking around 60 to 70 minutes after a road transfer of approximately 20 minutes.
