Property Overview

Lokuthula Lodges is a family-focused collection of two and three-bedroom thatched chalets set in gardens beside indigenous bush on the Victoria Falls Safari Collection estate. Each lodge has a private terrace, lounge and practical facilities for a more independent stay. Guests can use dedicated swimming pools, a paddling pool, a playground and recreation areas. Wildlife such as warthogs, bushbuck and birds may be seen around the grounds, adding a bush atmosphere close to town.

Victoria Falls National Park and the Falls are approximately four kilometres from Lokuthula Lodges. A complimentary shuttle runs between the estate, Victoria Falls town and the rainforest entrance.

Victoria Falls Airport is approximately 21 kilometres from Lokuthula Lodges, with the drive generally taking around 20 to 25 minutes.

Rooms

The estate has 31 thatched lodges, including 22 two-bedroom units and nine three-bedroom units. Downstairs bedrooms have air conditioning, while loft bedrooms and living areas use ceiling fans, and mosquito nets are provided. Self-catering lodges include equipped kitchens, lounges and private braai areas, while bed-and-breakfast arrangements are also available. Sofa beds can provide additional sleeping space, making the accommodation especially practical for families or friends travelling together.

Guests may prepare their own meals in the self-catering lodges or use the dining venues around the Victoria Falls Safari Collection estate. The Boma Café serves breakfast for bed-and-breakfast guests, while MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant and Buffalo Bar provide further options nearby. The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show combines an evening meal with music, drumming and cultural entertainment. Private braai areas also allow groups to enjoy relaxed meals at their own lodge.
