Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 - STARTING IN ISTANBUL:
The adventure begins in the dynamic city of Istanbul. As the anticipation culminates, we'll dive straight into the vibrant ambiance of the city. On this day, we'll acquaint ourselves with Istanbul's charms under the guidance of a local expert. The day concludes with a delightful group dinner, setting the tone for the upcoming days. As for our resting place, we'll unwind at the Hotel Centrum or a similar establishment.

DAY 2 - IMMERSED IN ISTANBUL:
Our second day unfolds in Istanbul's embrace, with its myriad of cultural wonders. From the artistic splendor of the Blue Mosque adorned with 20,000 hand-painted tiles to the expansive Grand Bazaar brimming with curiosities, we'll be engrossed. A peek into the history-laden Hagia Sophia is also on the cards. For those seeking an authentic Turkish experience, an optional evening of belly dancing and cultural performances awaits. We'll be spending another night at the Hotel Centrum or a similar venue.

DAY 3 - JOURNEY FROM ISTANBUL TO ÇANAKKALE, VIA GALLIPOLI:
Leaving behind the allure of Istanbul, our journey steers us towards Canakkale. But first, we pause at Gallipoli, a poignant World War I site, to pay our respects. Our travels then take us across continents as we ferry over the Dardanelles to the radiant town of Çanakkale. The evening is dedicated to relaxation and camaraderie. We'll be retiring for the night at the Tusan Hotel or an equivalent establishment.

DAY 4 - FROM ÇANAKKALE TO IZMIR, THROUGH TROY AND PERGAMON:
A day of exploration awaits as we set out from Çanakkale. Our first stop is Troy, where history and mythology intertwine. Beyond Hollywood's rendition, we'll delve into the real tales and ancient ruins of this legendary site. Our journey continues to Pergamon, a town steeped in historical significance. After embracing our inner archaeologist amidst its hillside relics, we'll proceed to Izmir. Often referred to as the 'Pearl of the Aegean', Izmir beckons with its palm-fringed promenades and rich heritage. After indulging in a hearty Turkish dinner, we have the evening to discover the city's nuances. The night's rest will be at the Hotel Anemon or a comparable hotel.

DAY 5 - IZMIR TO PAMUKKALE:
After a delightful breakfast in Izmir, we'll cruise out to admire the awe-inspiring natural landscapes, making a pit stop to visit one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World. Later, we'll tread on the ancient pathways of Ephesus, where once Mark Antony and Cleopatra wandered. In this well-preserved city, sights like the Temple of Artemis and the Library of Celsus await. Our journey then leads us to Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage site that boasts flowing waters and mesmerizing white calcium terraces. We'll cap the day with a hearty dinner at Hotel Lycus River, with plans to explore more the following day.

DAY 6 - PAMUKKALE TO KONYA:
Kicking off the day in Pamukkale, we'll head to Hierapolis, an antique city of the Aegean, where a guided tour will unravel its secrets. An optional dip in the renowned thermal pools is also available for those wanting a rejuvenating experience. Our post-lunch drive will take us to Konya, the ancient Sufi pilgrimage city. Here, between the echoes of the past and the hum of the present, we'll dine at our hotel, Hotel Anemon, nestled amidst this city that dates back 5,000 years.

DAY 7 - KONYA TO CAPPADOCIA:
Bidding Konya farewell, our eyes and hearts are set on Cappadocia, another gem in the UNESCO World Heritage list. At Cappadocia, the Goreme Open Air Museum awaits, showcasing a sprawling rock complex, with caves and churches etched into the stone, adorned with vivid frescoes. The marvels of Turkey continue to astonish us as we head back to our hotel, Hotel Yusuf Yiğitoğlu, preparing for a traditional dinner to end the day.

DAY 8 - CAPPADOCIA:
After the wonders of yesterday, today promises more adventures in Cappadocia. The day starts with a visit to the Kaymaklı Underground City, a sight that has to be seen to be believed. A local lunch will rejuvenate us for our next visit to the last traditional cave house in Uchisar Valley, where we'll be hosted by a local family with warm cups of coffee and tea. With memories of a day filled with cultural insights, we'll return to Hotel Yusuf Yiğitoğlu for the night, where you can pick a dinner spot at your leisure.

Day 9 - From Cappadocia's Marvels to Ankara's Charms:
We'll kick off our day by leaving Cappadocia, but before we fully bid it goodbye, we have a couple of gems to explore. The Zelve Open Air Museum will take us back in time with its cave town and ancient monastery. Our journey will continue with a sightseeing stop at Pasa Baglari, where the iconic 'fairy chimneys' stand tall. With these beautiful memories, we'll set our course for Ankara, Turkey's bustling capital. Once in Ankara, we'll get a taste of history with the fortified Kalesi and have the opportunity to indulge in the local specialties like honey, pears, and angora wool. Our day wraps up with a delightful dinner at our hotel, resting up for the journey to Istanbul.

Day 10 - Rediscovering Istanbul:
Our morning in Ankara might be brief, but it's packed with history. We'll enrich our knowledge at the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations and then hit the road to Istanbul after a lunch break. As we step into Istanbul in the afternoon, it's hard not to reflect on our epic journey so far. Our evening in this mesmerizing city is free, giving us all a chance to soak in its wonders on our final night together.

Day 11 - Farewell Istanbul:
Our adventure in Turkey concludes where it began, in the vibrant city of Istanbul. After breakfast, it'll be time to part ways. But, even as we say our goodbyes, the memories we've made and the photos we've clicked will forever be a testament to our incredible journey.
