South Palm Resort Maldives occupies the private island of Ismehela Hera at the southern end of Addu Atoll. White-sand beaches, lagoon waters and tropical vegetation surround the accommodation, while the remote setting provides a quieter alternative to resorts closer to Malé.

The resort’s beachfront and overwater accommodation includes family villas and private-pool options. Facilities include a swimming pool, kids’ area, watersports and diving, fitness facilities and Kurumba Spa, which is built around the island’s natural lake and includes floating treatment rooms.

How far is the nearest beach?

Beach Villas provide direct access to the sand, while Sunrise and Palm Villas are also positioned close to the shoreline. Water Villas are built above the lagoon and provide direct access to the sea rather than the beach.

Distance from Airport

South Palm Resort Maldives is approximately 10 minutes from Gan International Airport by speedboat. Travellers arriving at Velana International Airport in Malé must first take a domestic flight to Gan, which generally takes around 70 minutes, before continuing to the resort by boat.
