Located on Ookolhufinolhu Island in Lhaviyani Atoll, Cocoon Maldives combines its natural lagoon setting with contemporary interiors created by Italian design company LAGO. The resort describes itself as the first design hotel in the Maldives, with 150 villas positioned along the beach or over the water. Tropical vegetation, white sand and wide ocean views remain central to the island setting.
