In the municipality of Saint-Paul, Saint-Gilles is a settlement on the west of the French overseas territory of Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. The town of Saint-Gilles was established in 1665 when the island was first colonized. A term, Zorey Land, was given to this region by the city dwellers who frequented it.
Saint-Gilles grew in the nineteenth century thanks to the construction of a highway from Saint-Paul to Saint-Leu. Moray eels, sharks, and seahorses live in Reunion Aquarium's coral environments. The Jardin d'Eden botanic garden, located south of town, features a lava tunnel as well as tropical plants and flora. The town of Saint-Gilles Les Bains is an absolute must for anyone visiting Reunion.

Enjoying at White Sand Boucan Canot Beach

Boucan Canot is one of Reunion Island's most popular beaches, thanks to its luxurious hotels and wide sands. This is the white beach area located between Saint-Paul and Saint-Gilles. Swimmable water outside of lagoons and other naturally occurring swimming holes can be found only at this location on the island.
You can see several species at this destination that are difficult to discover elsewhere around Reunion Island.
There are three sections of the beach. Next to the Maitre Nageurs Sauveteurs station, there is a designated swimming area. There is also a natural pool, formed by rock formations and newly restored, which is popular with the younger generation, as well as a nearby surf site, which is popular with surfers.
For safety reasons, a shark net has been erected on this beach and swimming outside of it has been banned. A shark net was installed at Boucan Canot in December 2015, making it the first beachfront on the archipelago to have such a net installed.
There's ample shade from the coconut and casuarina trees along the beach's top edge at peak times of each day. Many restaurants, souvenir shops, and motels may be found on the beachfront, as well as several seasonal rentals.
Fish and turtles are drawn to the seabed because of the rocks and corals that cover part of it. Snorkeling is a popular activity at this location.

Explore Nature at Garden of Eden(Jardin d'Eden)

A botanical garden and ethnobotanical park called the Garden of Eden is situated in Saint-Gilles on the south-western coast of La meeting and belongs to the town of Saint-Paul.
There are 700 tropical plant species in the 2.5-hectare English-style landscape park. Many florae, you'll see at the Garden of Eden are unique to Reunion Island and Madagascar. Philippe Kaufman, an agronomist, and Botany enthusiast developed it in 1990 on a farm that had been in his family for two centuries. To achieve the ideal of a bucolic scene, the garden's 6.2 acres of shaded walkways were created.
The lychees, mangoes, coffee trees, and other trees that thrive here reach amazing heights, providing welcome shelter from the midday sun.

Relaxation at Roches Noires Beach(Plage des Roches Noires Beach)

In the middle of Saint-Gilles, there is a beach called Roches Noires. It is on the west coast of the island of Reunion. It is a popular spot for sunbathing and swimming. Tourists from all over the world go to this beach which is regarded as a safe spot to relax and enjoy the sun.
The beach is smooth, the water is warm, and many visitors enjoy the high waves. There are also physicians and rescuers on hand in case anything happens. For surfers, there is a designated area, while for swimmers and sunbathers, there is a separate area. All areas have been fenced in with additional security measures.
Walking along the beach is a common pastime for visitors to the area. During your vacations in Saint-Gilles, Réunion, you should visit the Beach of the Roche Noires. Visit Brisants Beach(Plage des Brisants)

Saint-Gille Reunion's most popular tourist destination Brisants beach is a must-see. Beautiful white sand, similar to that seen in the Maldives, lines the shoreline, providing a tranquil haven for travelers seeking some R&R.
The majority of tourists are surfers and other people who enjoy participating in physical activities associated with the water. Several cultural and sports events are conducted each year. Numerous restaurants, cafes, showers, and stalls are available at the beach. There is free parking right by the harbor, and the yacht club in the area is well-known.

Enjoying at Snow-white Sand Hermitage beach(Plage de L'Hermitage Beach)

It is one of Reunion's most scenic and well-maintained beaches, drawing tourists from all over the world. It is rightfully regarded as a piece of heaven.
There is only one beach on the archipelago that has snow-white sand, Hermitage, and it is better known for its volcanoes. It is Reunion's longest coastline, at moreover seven kilometers in length. In addition, the beach's coral, which forms a beautiful lagoon and draws snorkelers, is an equally stunning aspect of the beach.
An Australian fir tree, a beach bean, and a coastal morning glory line the sandy shore of the beach.
