Property Overview

Valmer Resort & Spa is a small, family-owned property in Baie Lazare on the southern coast of Mahé. Set on a hillside among tropical greenery and granite boulders, it is only a few minutes’ walk from the beach. The resort combines spacious accommodation with an infinity pool, a restaurant and bar, a children’s playground, a gym and the Frangipani Spa.

How far is the nearest beach?

Baie Lazare Beach is only a few minutes’ walk from the resort. Guests should note that the property occupies an elevated hillside setting, so the return walk from the beach includes an uphill section.

Distance from Airport

Seychelles International Airport is approximately 18 kilometres from the resort. The road journey generally takes around 30 minutes, although the exact travel time may vary with traffic.

Rooms

Accommodation is arranged across spacious suites and villas set within the resort’s tropical grounds.

The 50m² Ocean View Suites feature contemporary décor, original artwork and a terrace facing the sea.

Deluxe Villas measure 65m² and include an open-plan equipped kitchenette, a lounge, a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a private wooden terrace with tropical or ocean views. Interconnecting villas are available.

The 55m² Junior Suites have a private jacuzzi on their wooden deck terraces and face the ocean.

Two-bedroom Family Villas provide 120m² of space, with an equipped kitchenette, living and dining areas, two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and a large private wooden terrace.

The 90m² Pool Villa includes an equipped kitchenette, spacious living and dining areas, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and outdoor shower, and a private pool on its wooden deck.

Villa 33 can be booked with either three or four bedrooms. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, a living area and a private pool, making it suitable for larger families or groups travelling together.

Le Palmier Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its menus combine traditional Creole dishes with international favourites, with à la carte choices served at lunch and dinner. Table d’hôte dinners and occasional themed buffets are also offered. The restaurant is surrounded by palms and other tropical vegetation, with views towards the mountains and ocean.

La Gaulette Bar is positioned beside the infinity pool and serves a selection of drinks and cocktails throughout the day and into the evening.
