Property Overview

Hotel Le Récif is a 3-star superior property in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, set beside the L’Ermitage lagoon. Its colonial-style buildings are arranged across three hectares of tropical gardens, with balconies and terraces overlooking the landscaped grounds.

The hotel has 146 rooms and suites, including family accommodation created from connecting rooms. Two outdoor swimming pools provide separate areas for swimming and sunbathing, while the lagoon is easily accessible from the property.

Dining is shared between Le Maloya, the main buffet restaurant, and Le Comptoir Sud, a poolside bar and casual dining venue. Tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball and pétanque are available, along with snorkelling equipment and an outdoor treatment hut.

Rooms

Hotel Le Récif has 146 rooms and suites, each with a furnished balcony or terrace, air conditioning, satellite television, minibar, safe and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Complimentary drinking water is replenished daily.

The 58 Standard Rooms measure 28 square metres and occupy the ground floor. Each includes a furnished terrace overlooking the tropical gardens, a double bed, desk, sofa and bathroom with bathtub. Four rooms provide adapted facilities.

The 56 Superior Rooms also measure 28 square metres. Positioned on the first floor, they have a furnished balcony overlooking the gardens and a similar interior layout.

The 14 Family Superior Rooms measure 56 square metres and consist of two connecting Superior Rooms. Bed configurations can be adapted for families, with capacity for up to four adults and two teenagers.

The four Junior Suites measure 56 square metres and face towards the sea. They include a separate living room, a furnished balcony or terrace and a bathroom with both a bathtub and shower.

Le Maloya is the hotel’s main restaurant, serving breakfast and dinner buffet-style. Breakfast includes a selection of international favourites, while themed evening buffets introduce different cuisines throughout the week. Local bands provide live music on selected nights.

Le Comptoir Sud is a poolside restaurant and bar open throughout the day. Guests can stop for lunch between swims, order cocktails at sunset or choose from a small evening buffet of local curries, cold starters and desserts.

A casual dress code applies during the day. Swimwear should be covered at breakfast, while slightly smarter clothing is requested after 6 p.m.
