Overview

The Maldives have an atoll called Dhaalu' Atoll. It is named after the natural atoll. It is also known as the Nilandhe Atholhu Dhekunuburi atoll, located southwest of Male. Dhaalu is a 23-kilometer wide atoll and 38-kilometer vast north to south. Kudahuvadhoo, the atoll's southernmost island, serves as the atoll's capital.
Seven thousand people call the atoll home, with 56 islands. In addition to frequent domestic flights, Kudahuvadhoo's domestic airport, Dhaalu atoll, also provides local ferry services.
Since it first became accessible to tourists in 1998, this atoll has grown famous as a scuba diving hotspot. Based on evidence from the archaeological record, several islands in the atoll are said to have substantial ties to the Buddhist era. There are Buddhist ruins on a few atoll's islands. The surviving examples of ancient buildings in this area are awe-inspiring.
In the Maldives, the great season to visit the Dhaalu Atoll region is between January and December, when the weather is mild, and there is little to no rain. On the Dhaalu Atoll, the average temperature in March ranges from 29°C to 28°C; the lowest average temperature is 28°C in January. The temperature of the water is somewhere about 30°C.

In Dhaalu Atoll, Kudahavaddhoo Island is the capital and most significant island. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Maldives. It is known for its ancient temple ruins and urban delights harmoniously intertwined with the azure waters of the Maldives.
Even though the population is only 3,000, the island is best renowned for its architectural significance because of enigmatic mounds known as hawittas scattered across the landscape. It is thought that these mounds, which trace their origins to the Islamic period, are the ruins of Buddhist temples.
A historic mosque made of coral stone carvings provides a stunning view of exceptional ancient masonry, making it a great holiday spot for families. Tourists are drawn to this area because of its natural beauties, cultural wonders, and breathtaking views.
Some of the island's many charms include its crystal-clear waters, lush foliage, crisp air, and delectable cuisine. Crystal blue seas are ideal for diving. The Utheemu, a 1960s shipwreck, and the 19th-century Liffey are two of the most popular diving spots near the island. One of the country's four international airports is located on this island.

Visit Rinbudhoo and Hulhudheli Islands

Rinbudhoo is a Maldivian island located in the Dhaalu Atoll. This is a fantastic location and Island of peace that has received overwhelmingly good ratings. People on the island make money in a variety of ways, from fishing to jewelry-making. The island has a population of 543. The island is well-known for its black coral and silver jewelry crafts in addition to its tourism industry.
Hulhudheli is a populated and small native island island in the administrative division of Dhaalu Atoll and is located in the southern region of the Maldives. The Hulhudeli Islands Council is in charge of administering this central provincial island constituency. The jewellers on this island are particularly well-known. The coastline is beautiful, with a wonderful bikini beach and a nice overall feel.

Visit Sun Aqua Vilu Reef

The private island of Sun Aqua Vilu Reef is located on the Dhaalu atoll in the Maldives. Beaches with palm trees and white sand can be found practically anywhere. The north and the south of the island include sandspits, and the home mini-atoll has great snorkelling. The spacious villas, outdoor pool, and on-site diving centre at Sun Aqua Vilu Reef make for a perfect beach getaway. There is also a gym and two eateries nearby. Elegantly furnished with wood floors and furniture, the air-conditioned homes are a haven for tourists. One thing that that young men enjoy is the late-night dance music that plays in the bar.
Getting to the Sun Aqua Vilu reef from Male Airport Terminal requires a 35-minute maritime plane ride. There are a variety of treatments, including massages and facials, as well as volleyball and tennis courts for guests to use.

Visit Kandiland with the kids at Kandima!
