Mandarava Resort and Spa is a large hillside resort surrounded by tropical vegetation above Karon Beach. How far is the nearest beach?

Karon Beach is approximately 700 metres from the resort and can be reached on foot or by complimentary scheduled shuttle. The hotel is therefore not beachfront, and the hillside position means walking back involves an uphill section. Guests who prefer to remain onsite have five infinity pools spread throughout the grounds. The combination works particularly well for travellers who like having a major beach nearby without needing the resort itself to sit directly on the sand.

Distance from Airport

Phuket International Airport (HKT) is around 40 kilometres by road from Mandarava Resort and Spa. The drive to Karon typically takes approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions, with no boat or domestic connection required. The straightforward road transfer makes arrival simple after the international journey from South Africa. Once in Karon, Patong, Kata and other parts of southern and western Phuket can also be explored by road.

Accommodation is notably spacious, with many room categories measuring around 55 square metres and featuring private balconies, sitting areas and tropical contemporary interiors. Selected categories provide direct access to swimming pools, while the Andaman Private Pool Villas extend to 120 square metres with a separate living room and a substantial private pool.
