How far is the nearest beach?

The lodge sits directly on the beach, between the Indian Ocean and Inhaca Bay, so guests reach the sand straight from the property. Swimming, beach walks and shaded relaxation are central to the stay, although tidal conditions can create strong currents in the channel at certain times. Staff advise guests on the safest periods for swimming, particularly around spring tides and outgoing water. The surrounding peninsula also provides long, uncrowded stretches of beach for walking and picnics.

Distance from Airport

Maputo International Airport (MPM) is the relevant international arrival point for travellers coming from South Africa. From the airport, the lodge arranges an approximately 15-minute road transfer to Maputo Marina, followed by a scheduled boat journey of around 70 to 80 minutes across the bay. Boat departure times are tide-dependent and vessels do not operate after dark. The journey is therefore part road and part boat, with no domestic flight required.

Current lodge information lists 10 ocean-view rooms, each designed to face the sea and surrounding dune forest.
