Distance from Airport

Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa is reached from Velana International Airport by speedboat. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes, avoiding the need for a domestic flight or seaplane connection after arriving in Malé. MLE is therefore both the international arrival airport for travellers from South Africa and the departure point for the resort transfer. The speedboat connection also removes the daylight operating restrictions associated with seaplane-only resorts.
